The Grove

We remain grateful to the clients for agreeing to spend the money needed to 'do the right thing' to this rear extension. An exercise in inside/outside spaces and natural lighting, the result is a lovely clean white simple structure which acts as the perfect backdrop for their use of it as a cooking photo-shoot location.

The combination of a full-length skylight dropping top-light along the long edge of the building, the cantilevered corner window opening up to the main garden view and an inside corner of sliding/folding doors which open to reveal a post-less inside edge bringing the outside in and the outside in, all come together to make the think hum. They're very happy with the result, as are we.
